Under An Atomic Sky.

I've just been doing my bi-weekly check on Twitter.

You remember. The company that was going into 2013 facing a winding up order.

My account remains locked. So I'm now, finally, invoking the standard penalty for stealing SHIELD tech. Not that 10% is worth much.

This does give me an opportunity to round up some other tech news.

As I think I've mentioned I've been enjoying the current Ashes cricket series. Which I've been streaming online through Now TV. Via a Roku set-top box.

A Now TV subscription also allows you to simultaneously stream on a mobile device such as a tablet. Via the App.

In order to watch cricket while, say in the kitchen cooking, I attempted to download this App. Which involved logging into the Amazon Appstore on Friday (23/8/19). Only to discover the Now TV App is not available in that particular ecosystem.

The side effect of logging into the Appstore was that all my existing Apps then attempted to update themselves. Including the Twitter one. Although I refused it permission.

Yesterday (26/8/19) I discovered that the Now TV App had deleted itself from my Roku box. Forcing me to reinstall it and log back into it.

Ironically just in time to watch Blindspot. The one where the App glitches.
