The Remain Recession.
In June 2016 Britain voted to Leave the European Union (EU).
In February 2017 the British Parliament honoured that vote. Establishing in law that Britain would Leave the EU on March 29th 2019 (29/3/19).
In March 2019 the British Parliament refused to let Britain Leave the EU. Extending it's membership. First until June 2019. Then until October 2019.
Between January and March 2019 the UK economy grew by 0.5%. Slightly better than expected.
Between April and June 2019 the UK economy shrank by 0.2%.
