So "Screed" is Back in Fashion.

No doubt due to the 2017 miniseries "Guerrilla." Which I recently streamed online .

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt5650574/

It centres around a fictional Black Supremacist terror group. In 1970's London.

Democrats have taken using the term to refer to the writings of the El Paso shooter. Suggesting they just can't resist boasting about what they've done.

The show was very clearly inspired by the rise of Black Lives Matter. The Black Supremacist terror group the Democrats created to scare up votes ahead of the 2014 mid-terms.

In the show the screed the group read out during their attack doesn't belong to them. It belongs to the radical socialist group who pay them to carry out the attack.

The screed having nothing to do with the motive for the attack leads to the police going after the wrong people.

The show itself is terrible. It ends with the optimistic promise;

"This isn't the end. It is the beginning."

 It wasn't.

Clearly no-one wanted a second series.
